Compression Sleeves-New Style
Richly-detailed with convenient front hook-and-eye closure, our newly-designed compression sleeves provide superior healing support for patients recovering from a variety of arm procedures, including brachioplasty and liposuction. Available in beige or black.
Product Description: Compression sleeves offer high-quality compression using reinforced Nylon/Lycra®. Recommended for proper healing following surgical procedures involving the arms. Compression sleeves cover the shoulders, and fasten with a convenient front hook-and-eye closure. Available in beige and black.
Common post-surgical uses: Arm sleeves are ideal for use during recovery from arm procedures such as brachioplasty or liposuction.
Additional medical benefits: Compression garments also help prevent extreme, hypertrophic scarring in the event of severe, skin damaging burns. Excellent relief for symptoms associated with lymphedema, such as fluid retention and tissue swelling.
Flawlessly fashioned: Nouvelle’s exclusive medical-grade designs cannot be found in retail stores. We proudly offer only latex-free products MADE IN THE USA. Our garments use a 55% Lycra®/45% nylon content for the smoothest, most comfortable feeling next to healing skin. This fabric combination ensures garments never lose compression integrity with continual use and appropriate laundering.
Detail highlights: The difference between our products and mass-produced retail offerings is in the details. In an effort to minimize discomfort during post-operative healing stages, we carefully scrutinized every stitch, every panel, and every possible way the arm sleeves could help in the healing process. Most undergarments readily available through retail chains are simply not made with this level of care or quality. Three distinguishing characteristics:
1. Fabric structure. Featuring four-way stretch and memory, arm sleeves can withstand numerous washes, endure extremely long wear times, and miraculously retain original shape and quality. All designs have been through rigorous testing and meticulous scrutiny to ensure complete comfort and enhanced efficacy of every angle, seam and compression area.
2. Quality craftsmanship. Nouvelle designs have a reputation for superior craftsmanship. Our garments offer distinctly soft, silky textures so comfortable against sensitive surgical areas, you may be tempted to continue wearing them long after healing. We use only the finest fabric available, and hand-inspect each seam and stitch to ensure garments are soundly, solidly constructed.
3. Comfort. Realizing post-operative healing stages can be uncomfortable, we paid particular attention to every conceivable way our arm sleeves touch the skin. Stitches are constructed so they are perfectly flat, so as not to aggravate incisions. Hook-and-eye closure is never in danger of contacting the skin. Not a single design uses metal wires or stays.
Benefits: When applied correctly, compression wear can increase blood circulation around surgical areas to accelerate healing, diminish swelling, and flush out harmful fluids. In the event of sudden movements such as sneezing or coughing, the garments help protect and stabilize the surgical site, minimizing discomfort. The result is not only a shorter recovery time, but a cleaner surgical area with minimal scarring.
Instructions: Simply slide arms into sleeves and fasten hook-and-eye closure.
Care: Wash by hand or machine using cold water and mild soap. Line or gentle machine dry only.
Sizing: Use the size charts to determine proper fit ($10 surcharge for 2X-Large).
Consider buying two: A good rule of thumb is to purchase duplicate garments so you always have a backup. The key to a successful surgical result is consistent compression, so you will want to ensure the site is always protected and secure.
